Lookup a Business Entity
Step 1 – Start
Search business entities (Corporations, LLCs, Limited Partnerships, etc.) by going to the Secretary of State’s Website. Look up by Name, ID Number, or an Officer (President, VP, Treasurer, etc.) of the Company. If you choose to perform a query by name, make sure to be as detailed as you can in order to narrow down the results.
After making your selection you will be re-directed to the Results Page (As Seen Below) which will have all the matching listings.
Step 2 – Choose Your Entity

On the results page, the Secretary of State allows you to preview the ID Number, Name, State of Incorporation, Type, and the Standing of the entity. In order to view all the information on file, you will need to click on the black text link (Under ‘Corporate ID’) to get to the Details Page (As Seen Below).
